Dear Charlie students, I'd like to assign your third listening task: Which news is the most interesting for you and why. Entry submission due date: Monday HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR:)
The story I have chosen is the third one. I would not say it is a 'interesting' story but pathetic. After I listened the story from the reporter, I felt pretty bad about the guy because his hand was stuck into a garbage disposal in three days. It is a horrible story because the guy probably lost one of his hands or had a severe damage. I am sorry for him.What I like about the story is that he tried to call for a help by breaking the window with fire extinguisher. One thing I wonder about the story is that why the heck is there a fire extinguisher right next to the sink, because I am very sure that garbage disposal is in with the sink. Apparently, he was able reach the fire extinguisher while his hand was stuck into the machine. It is good for him, anyway. I am glad he survived.
It seems to me that most intriguing story is the second one on account of the attachment between the woman and her cat.Although the catastrophic storm caused a drastic broken leg,she was just thinking about her lost cat.
